Does anyone still watch bleach

Been watching it recently. I like it so far. Considering bleach is my fav anime I would obviously say it's worth watching, but I think a simple rule for Bleach is to watch up to ep 63 end of soul society arc and if you don't like it after that then it's prob not worth finishing.

As for fillers I would actually say watch them since the bleach fillers are actually really good and have some great fight scenes, but if fillers aren't your thing then you can always skip them obviously. Another plus is final bleach season is coming out in ! I don't think any shounen longer than episodes is worth watching, whatever the title. I am scared because Bleach i like episodes long.

Only watch if you haven't already been spoiled. Skip filler because it's terrible in this one and just watch what you need. I think it's still worth watching as long as you don't watch the filler arc. The filler arc was kind of ruined the enjoyment in watching the main story and a huge waste of time imo.

For the manga, i think it's not worth it. Last arc will be animated next year, so i guess you should just wait for it if you're still curious about what will happen till the end. CaptainKenshiro said: I don't think any shounen longer than episodes is worth watching, whatever the title. Yes, for sure, if you are a fan of shounen you should.

It was an amazing show to be honest. When I was growing up, the top big 3 shounen anime at that time would be One Piece, Naruto, and Bleach. It's always these three. It a legendary anime and you wouldn't want to miss that. Bleach is not so much focused on fighting for nakama. So its not like Fairy Tail or Naruto. What I love about bleach is the concept of shinigami, bankai, and soul society. The touch of classic Japanese motifs. Of course actions and sword fights. Another thing I love about it.

Bleach was so classy with the styles and how they present the themes So yeah, you should watch it! It really depends on what you like, and what your tolerances are. Do you like Battle Shounen, don't mind if the story takes liberties when it comes to powering up the main character, like decent character designs and cool ass powers are enough to get you enticed?

Sure, you'll probably like Bleach to a certain degree, or hell you might even love it, who knows. Skip the Bount arc, the first of many filler arcs in this series, has no bearing on the story and it's really boring. Do you have no opinion on or hate Battle Shounen, hate god awful pacing that's only rivaled by One Piece, hate one-dimensional characters which most characters are after that good first arc, and random power-ups that are super contrived?

Probably don't watch it, or just watch the first arc, the Soul Society arc. In my opinion, yes its worth watching. If you like fights, great music, and cool character designs then check it out. Humans may have two eyes, but we can only see one thing. Finally, the anime has been toned down significantly from the original manga in terms of violence and other elements.

So, the anime is fine for adolescents but if they are interested in reading the manga, I would suggest caution and knowing your child, specifically for the later arcs, starting with the Arrancar arc starts at volume 22 , which contain imagery that could be disturbing to younger children along with much more graphic depictions of violence, including dismemberment and mutilation.

But as always, it comes down to how mature your child is and how they handle subjects like this. This title contains: Positive Messages. Positive role models. Read my mind. We also had some issues as she really admired Rwngiku and started trying to dress in a similar manner low cut tops etc, my daughter doesn't have anything to show but still I do think Bleach has some good role models but there are some sceres which are quite sexually charged female masturbation , some swear words and lots of scary "monsters" and violence.

My daughter loved what she saw but the nightmares returned when we gave her the benefit of he dobut and allowed her to start watching again. A child who is less sensitive to being scared may be fine although I'd still be a little concerned about the female characters lack of clothing and sexual scenes.

The preserverance of the main character is admirable. There are some themes of teamwork as well. However, there are some subtle references to molestation that are treated as jokes.

It's in very bad taste. I wish I could write the producers in protest or start some political movement preventing such references in anime. Kids are really into these characters and their avatars in video games. It's written in a way that makes you want to keep watching, but sexualizing the relationship between the main character's sisters and his dad is creepy. His sisters refuse his advances, but it's just not cool. One example: The father says, "I know you missed your dear old dad," as he rips his shirt off.

Another example: The dad asks his daughters to play truth or dare. There is also an inappropriate amount of attention given to a young lady's chest. Which is sad because, I appreciate the main character's resilience getting over his mother's death and fighting to save his family members as well as strangers.

Adult Written by funny November 4, I'm going to see how many reviews I can write for this show. The review I'm writing is for the subsitute, AKA season one.

I don't see there being a huge shock on the violence if your kid s have seen things like the hunger games. Note: a girl's brother comes back as a hollow to kill her. If your kids are sensitive to that don't show this to them. Not to mention there is a young ghost boy being chased by a hollow.

That may disturb some viewers. Sex: Note: Kon comes in episode six season one. Why is this important because he is quite perverted when he is in ichigo's body he jumps up to ichigo's class. He pays extra attention to the girls, and comments on how they are "hot". Then he looks at orihime and says wow su-er si-e.

Adult Written by mumsyamsy July 7, Was suprised While the story line is engaging and the violence isn't terrible, my major issue with this show was the derogatory and frequent cursing and the sexual undertones and frequent sexual talk in the series.

Bleach is a long-running shonen manga franchise that first launched in and concluded in with 74 total manga volumes to its name. Bleach also earned its place in Shonen Jump 's "big three" of its generation alongside Naruto and One Piece.

Each series has an impressively lengthy anime to their names, and while Bleach can't match One Piece 's epic length , it's still a hefty series to get into. It's true that the Bleach anime, as it stands now, does not tell the entire story of the original manga, but even then, dedicated fans would want to know just how much time they'd need to watch the entire thing -- and when the Thousand-Year Blood War arc gets animated, they can factor that in too.

Alternatively, fans can calculate how long they'd need to read the original manga if they want the full story right away. The Bleach anime launched in and ran for eight years before it ended in March , with total episodes, including all filler arcs and episodes.
