What did you find out? FYI - I had to wait 14min before I could make a post here. I going to return probably this buggy mess along with the coil whine makes me worry about long term reliability.

I hate companies that don't test their crap properly before releasing it or release it anyway with known problems. Advanced Optimus is just naff I have to manually make sure it's set to Nvidia GPU which most of the time it doesn't do on its own then set it before. Normal Optimus worked well for my last 4 laptops but advanced. Where can I buy it? EDIT: just wanted to leave this here for the record.

It requires a hard reset to work again. I already tried to actually update and reinstall Synaspe and reinstall the drivers. Unplugging and replugging them dont work either. Is it possible to replace the old wires of a Razer Kraken with that of a mouse wire if soldered right and will it affect any of the features of the headset? If it is possible, can I just use any replacement mouse wires for the repair or do I need a specific type of wire?

I'm asking this because my brother handed his old pair to me after he bought a new one and his old Razer Kraken would lose audio whenever the cable would be moved and the screen would lag or freeze until the computer can detect the headset again.

The problem is that I still occasionally get key spamming even though the firmware update is installed. It usually happens when alt-tabbing and rarely with other keys. I can't really recreate it intentionally and seems kinda random. Does the issue occur when Razer Synapse is disabled? Since you have already opened the mouse, it will be better to replace the sensor. Do you have some sort of tutorial I can follow or can you guide me through the process or provide me with a new sensor? Unfortunately, we do not have repair documentation and internal spare parts. We provide a replacement unit if a mouse has been identified to be faulty and it is still within the 2-year limited warranty period.

I think it's not covered by the warranty anymore. You'll have to try to source the exact same sensor online. Maybe find a defective Mamba with a working sensor, open up your mouse and replace the sensor. Those are pretty hard to come by but you could always try checking sites like eBay or Amazon. But it's like a microchip. Will I have to pull that out and solder in a new one by myself?

And you say, that it's pretty hard to come by. Isn't it better to just buy a new mouse at that point? You'd have to seek help from someone with experience in that department. Scrolling on your mouse should be more tactile than most. We can't say much for the SteelSeries Rival though as we don't really have experience with the mouse. Would you say that the resistance ruins your user experience?
